She Loves me, She Loves Me Not

"Rory, I love you."

There, I said it. I put my heart and my balls on the line, and I said those three little words.

And I actually meant them this time.

But what does she do? She just…DISMISSES me and walks into her grungy apartment that she shares with Paris and Doyle (so who's really putting their balls on the line here?) of all people!

Doesn't she get it? I TOLD her that I didn't want to lie to her when I said "I love you", like I had with all those other girls.

And I explained that to her after she told me that SHE loved ME!

So what's the deal now, she doesn't love me anymore? Well, I guess I wouldn't blame her.

Honestly, it's all Honor's fault. She just kept nagging me and nagging me and I get enough of that from mom and dad (must be a family trait, I guess)!

But I really do love Rory. She's… she's my Ace. MY Ace! She looks at me with those ocean blue eyes of hers and I just never wanna stop kissing her. She'll talk to me about stuff that's actually interesting, unlike all my past dates who just wanna talk about ….God, I don't even remember what they used to talk about! I don't remember because it obviously wasn't that interesting!

But Rory Gilmore has argued with me on behalf of her friends and argues about Hemingway and once she even wanted to argue with me about which was better…. Caramel Macchiato or Irish Crème!

She makes me laugh, she makes me jealous, she makes me conjure up rebuttals she makes me…crazy!

OK, so I was a little harsh to her old ex – boyfriend (who is now just a FRIEND) Jeff.

Or was it Jack?

No it was…ah hell, I dunno, it was somethin' with a J!

But there, I'm brave enough to admit that I was wrong and I'm brave enough to admit that I love her (ME!), so…what now?

Y'know, a year and a half ago, I couldn't even remember her name, and now I can't forget her.

I don't WANT to forget her.

I want her.

I need her.

Damnit, I love her.
