This a short, silly fic that contains slash references. I own absoultely nothing. The pairing is a secret until the end but you may be able to guess.
"We should have known."
He can hear Remus Lupin standing with Molly Weasley in the kitchen.
She sighs. "You didn't even suspect? You were living here the whole time. I asked you to keep an eye on them."
"I did" he retorts. "They hid as well here as at school. Too much practise, I suppose."
She sighs and he knows that she has surrendered. Not that he expected much resistance, from Remus either. He worries what Harry will say, has pleaded with them not to say anything until he can tell the boy himself.
They agreed. Again, he had not expected much resistance.
Harry arrives the next day and greets him with a hug. "Hi, Sirius!" he cries as he leaps into his godfather's arms. He is free from the Dursley's for another summer. He is safe and happy here with Sirius.
His godfather hesitates. "I have something to tell you."
Harry knows something is wrong, can see the defeated way that his godfather stands. He looks pale with worry, and fear.
"What's wrong?"
Sirius leads him away into the kitchen and no-one follows. Harry is frightened now, terrified that Sirius will leave him.
"I've fallen in love and am getting married" the older man blurts out. Harry laughs in relief.
"It's with who that you may have difficulty understanding. You know that I am gay?" Harry nods. "Well, who else in the order is?"
Harry thinks. "Remus, Kingsley, that guy whos name I always forget but I'm sure it begins with a "B" and Snape." Harry frowns for a moment, then grins. "It's Snape, right?."
Sirius blinks. "Why do you think that?"
Harry laughs. "Well, Remus would be in here with you. You've turned Kingsley down before. You didn't correct me on the other guy's name. That only leaves Snape."
Sirius grins. "You're right. Now, upstairs to say hello to Ron and Hermonine."
Harry laughs and gets up to leave. "And that's another point" he says. Sirius raises his eyebrows. "You fight worse than them two! And that's gotta mean love."
Sirius laughed. The boy was less niave then he'd thought.
I just had to get that comment in at the end. I think Ron and Hermonine are brilliant, hope they get together in the seventh book. Review me and I may show you Sirius' and Snape's wedding.
