Spirited Away:
Reunion

A young girl sat at her desk as the teacher prattled on about physics, as the discussion was argued further she started to drift off into sleep. The dream was that of her friend that she had not seen in nine years. It was strange that she was dreaming of him now, since she hadn't seen him in such a long time. Her hope of doing so was dwindling with each passing year. He was smiling and telling her once again that he was going to honor his promise and that not to worry he will be there soon.

Chihiro smiled in her sleep, how she wished what he said was true, but there was no way that a spirit of such a grand river would be able to leave the spirit world just to see her.

"Chihiro, Chihiro!" She woke to the sound of her name. All the students in her class were staring at her, the teacher did not seem amused.

"What was the question sir?" The teacher glared at her, this wasn't the first time that she had dozed off in class and would not likely be the last.

"I asked you to name...oh forget it. Go to the principles office I'm done with you for today." He turned back to the board and continued writing down formulas.

As she walked home after school Kohaku stayed in her thoughts, oh how she wished that he would return to her. She shook her head trying to get the thoughts out of her head. He is a spirit after all, he has more important things that going to her world to say hi to her. But the thought still made her sad.
"So dear, how was your day?" Chihiro looked up at her mother as she walked up the stairs to her room,
"Uneventful as usual." She sighed and shut her door. As she set out her homework that was due the next day a prickle started at the base of neck and up to the back of her head. something's coming! Wind picked up outside to a point where her windows started to move. Then a whistle came out of the distance. Her eyes widened.
Kohaku!
There at the window shown the eyes of a sky dragon. She smiled and ran to the window to fling it open.

BR>"Kohaku!" She buried her face into his neck, "I'm so glad that you came." A small noise came from his throat in understanding. As she backed away wiping her years on her sleeve, he changed to his human form, only to run to her and hug her tighter.
"I'v waited so long to hold you again." He whispered to her. She only smiled,

"I knew that you would come"
