Holding back
This aching feeling I get, when all else succeeds through victory,
Takes control, causing unpleasant fits, anarchy,
Nervousness, cowardice, unaware of this opportunity,
That could turn into a brilliant, warm future,
Unaware of the possible outcomes of the choice,
Ecstasy, confusion, inattentive ignorance,
Unable to determine an answer on jumping,
And taken it by a simple, clamped, hand
Seeking the truth that could possibly wager,
A bright and fulfilled future, but still present,
Unable to ask but disappears upon the dark clouds,
Moves on to the next day, pushing it aside,
Lucking out, and holding back, on my once and a life time opportunity.
