DISCLAIMER

Supernatural belongs to the WB. I only own Nick and Kelly.

Kelly hung up the phone.

"Okay, Dallas, Texas," she stated. Thank you Sam, she thought to herself. Now she had a destination.

"That's important, why?" Nick wondered. He wasn't even sure why they were following these two guys in the first place.

"Weren't you paying attention?" Kelly snapped. "Their father sent them to Dallas because of some strange dog attacks. Ten-to-one, that town's got werewolves," she continued without waiting for a response, taking her purse from the floor and placing it at her side. Really, just how naive is he? she thought silently.

"Werewolves?" Nick repeated. "You don't really believe in all that stuff, do you?" he asked with an incredulous laugh. Has she seriously lost it? he wondered to himself. There was no such things as werewolves. They were just made-up creatures in movies designed to scare kids.

"Tell me again why you're here with me?" Kelly asked in annoyance.

"Because you like my company," Nick answered, flashing a grin. Kelly glared. She didn't have time for jokes and games. She had important business to attend to. Like making sure Sam and Dean didn't die.

"Get the map," she snapped. Nick did so and spread it out so that he could see.

"Okay, here's where you want to turn," he told her, pointing to a spot on the map.

"Thanks," she responded. She drove on for a few minutes. Then, she made the turn that would lead her to Texas. Blowing out a worried breath, she pulled out an antique-looking necklace from her purse. Oh, Jess. If only you were alive. Then you could give this to Sam yourself, she thought mournfully.

"Don't worry, Jess. I'll make sure he gets it," she promised softly. If it was the last thing she ever did on this earth, she would make sure that Sam got the necklace. She rubbed it worriedly.
