Summary: Just fluff. HHr DmGw It's the end of their7th year at Hogwarts. Voldemort is not an issue. This story is about the end of school and their summer before going out into the real world.
Their relationship had upset many people, and had pleased even more, when it started nine months ago. Immediately, they were hooked. Harry Potter and Hermione Granger had found each other at last. When they walked into Kings Cross at the beginning of the school year holding hands and chatting quietly, mutters of "finally" and "took them long enough" could be heard in the crowd. Everything was perfect. Seven months later, their relationship took on the inevitable road.
Valentine's Day was one that neither would forget for the rest of their lives. They'd been building up to this moment for a long time, and when she said to him between fervent kisses, "I just can't get enough of you. Don't ever stop loving me Harry James Potter," the dam broke. Who was he, Harry Potter, to say, "No," to that? That night, and much of the next day, Harry promised her without words that he would love her forever.
It was now May, and Harry had not broken his promise. In fact, he'd renewed the promise more times than he could count. Neither of them was complaining. Harry watched as Hermione Granger, book worm to the maximum, sauntered up to him at the Gryffindor table. She was dressed for the Hogsmead trip. Or, maybe the word was Undressed. She wore a light yellow mini-skirt that showed off her tanned, trimmed legs and a little white tank top with a jean jacket over it. Well, maybe she wasn't undressed, but he sure as hell wanted her to be. She sat down next to Harry giving him a lingering kiss, and earning a groan of disgust from Ron. She was intoxicating. Harry felt high and drunk at the same time. He couldn't help it; he was addicted to this beautiful girl.
"Honestly Hermione, aren't you tired of him yet?" Ron asked, exasperated, with a grin on his face. She looked from Harry to Ron and smirked when Harry decided to kiss her temple.
"Never. Can't help myself." Hermione grinned and turned to Harry. "Shouldn't he be used to us by now? It's been what?"
"Ten months today, actually." Harry smiled and kissed her hand.
"You are going to kill us with PDA today, aren't you?" Ron said groaning. He put his head in his hands and chuckled. Harry and Hermione shrugged and tried to look innocent. It didn't work. Ginny quickly started up a conversation with Hermione.
"So, what are you wearing to the ball tonight?" Ginny asked.
"It's a surprise. I will tell you, though, that you'll be surprised." Hermione said smirking. Ginny made a move to protest, but Hermione cut her off. "Don't even try. I'm not telling. You'll just have to wait and see like everyone else." Ginny pouted. Hermione grinned.
Ginny sobered instantly as she looked at something beyond Hermione's shoulder. She frowned and picked idly at her food with her fork for a few seconds before she stood up. At the trio's confused looks, she said, "I'll meet you all at the Three Broomsticks for lunch, ok?" Without waiting for any kind of response, Ginny hurriedly walked out of the Great Hall.
Harry looked to Ron. "What was that about, mate?" Ron just shrugged and mumbled what sounded like an "I don't know" around his mouth full of food. "Weird." Hermione looked over her shoulder, hoping to see what Ginny was looking at, and saw a familiar platinum blonde Slytherin walking out after her red-headed friend. She turned back to Harry and Ron.
"Very weird indeed."
