Weakness

"Hey, Yama, you wanna go see a movie with me tonight?"

Yamazaki shelved the last pair of shoes and took a deep mental breath, waiting for the catch.

"There's a french movie playing at the old theatre in town."

"French?"

Unless Takaiwa had been secretly learning french when Yamazaki hadn't been looking, he was quite sure that neither of them would have any idea what was going on while watching this movie.

"Yeah! It was supposed to have won a bunch of awards or something."

However, the Kouzu captain had never been one to deny his friend a date, and he just shook his head in disbelief, straightening with a sigh. His knee twinged in complaint at his crouch and he flinched, touching it expirementally with one hand.

Satoru wisely said nothing, replacing the shoe he had taken off the rack back on it's shelf.

"So?" he said finally, eyes and smile sparkling with excitement.

"Yeah, fine, when is it? I'm working 'till eight."

"Perfect!" enthused the false blond, clapping Yamazaki on the shoulder and leant in, but rethought his position when the bell on the door wrang and another customer came in.

"I'll come pick you up, then, and we'll walk," Satoru called over his shoulder as he left the store with a wave.

Yoshiki sighed at his weakness yet again and walked behind the counter. He was really quite foolish when it came to Takaiwa. He couldn't bring himself to refuse his dates, no matter how foolish. He would worry that he was only encouraging him, but he wasn't even sure if it was a bad thing or not.

The fact stood: Yamazaki Yoshiki would be going to a french movie with Takaiwa Satoru simply because he couldn't say no.

What was the world coming to?
