"Ha, ha, ha! You will never escape," I told the man.

He frowned  and said, "no, no, no. You are doing it all wrong. You need to put in more cackle, less evil grin. Right now you sound like you're my mother, not a mastermind criminal at age 13. Let's try it again!"

That's right. Mr. Joker here has a daughter- me. He was trying to teach me to take over the business, but I just kept screwing up. Every time it seemed like I had thought of everything, I forgot something simple, like not leaving anything behind (it's a bad idea to talk on your cell phone when you're breaking into a bank, apparently). It's not like I'm a bad thief or mastermind or whatever. It's that Da- I mean, Mr. Joker- doesn't like the idea of real experience, so I have to go through his simulations over and over again. Hey- don't hate me because I have friends, hate me because you bore me.

"But Dad, how am I ever going to be ready if I don't get some experience and go out with you on one of your 'excursions'?" I asked. He thinks it's too dangerous to let his only daughter go out there alone. Just because Mom made a mistake and is now lying six feet under doesn't mean that I can't do it. I've been trained since birth. I should be let out on a mission. I'm the best- probably even better than Dad, 'cuz he's getting old. Batman and them took a lot out of him when he was younger.

"No! I don't want my daughter in danger," he argued back.

"Fine! Be that way! But don't come crying to me if you have a problem. Don't even try and talk to me," I yelled at him as I slammed the door.

He doesn't know about my excursion that I'm planning tonight. It will be the best trick that anyone's ever pulled off. Even HIM.

A/N: I don't own the joker or batman, but I do own his daughter, even if I haven't yet named her.
