Thought I'd try another one-shot… since I got positive reviews…. This one is diff than my other ones because its NOT Der/Mer….. its an A/I (alex and izzie).. based on this Sunday's eppy "begin the begin"… also based on a clip from (or something like that),…. Not exact dialogue from clip…..

Alex saw Izzie walk into the hospital with her hair in a tangle and her makeup poorly done. She was trying, he knew, to be fine about the situation… but it wasn't easy. Why would it be? He had cheated on her… with Olivia. The nurse that broke George's heart. Izzie was George's friend, so naturally, she didn't like Olivia. And to see him having sex with this NURSE broke her. Shattered her spirit. And overall, made her the modern day Scrouge of the Holidays and Beyond.

Izzie walked by Alex about 5 times already during the day. The sad thing was she was counting. She was a wreck, and her supposed DOG wasn't helping. That dog was supposed to be hers…. To make her feel better. She liked him (A/N decided to make the dog a guy….the name… I still have no clue!) in the beginning, but slowly, he became her worst nightmare. Each night he would wait for her to get home, and then lead her into her room to show her that her brand new clothes she had worked overtime for were destroyed and/or tinkled on. Izzie despised him. Both hims: the dog and Evil Spawn!

"Izzie," Alex called. "Please talk to me, please, it's important!"

"WhAt! What on EARTH could be SO important to you that you NEED to talk to me. You know what? I know what you wanna say. And you know what else? SCREW IT! Go… go… go talk to those nurses, I'm sure they'll listen to a hot shot doc like you! But LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Izzie left Alex standing in shock. She was pissed. And so was he. Why did he have to ruin what he had with Isobel, his sweetheart Izzie. WHY?

George, who had heard the whole thing, came up to Izzie and told her how he felt about her handling of the situation. "You tell him Izzie! He is a crap head!"

Izzie laughed. "A crap head? Seriously George?"

"Well-you-that- I'm trying to be…. Yea… um"

"Thanks George, you really made my day!" Izzie walked away, confident that the day would get better.

And it did. She played everything she had said to alex through her head. She realized she had to be nice. It's a good resolution to follow! Plus, Izzie was tired of being the angry and stubborn girl. She wanted to be her kind, sweet, and baking self again. She would make it up to Alex.

"Hey ALEX!" Izzie screamed at the top of her lungs. Alex turned around, but immeadiately ran when he saw who it was. He didn't want to get yelled at again. "ALEX I WANNNA APOLOGIZE!" He stopped running.

"YOU DO?"

"I'm SORRY! LET"S FORGET ALL THIS AND PUT IT IN THE PAST. LET"S BE FRIENDS AGAIN!"

Alex ran over to Izzie so they wouldn't have to yell across the room anymore. Besides, nurses were looking funny at them. When Alex reached Izzie, he picked her up and spun her around. It was good that they made up.

"I don't want to go back to dating, yet KAREV!" she shouted in a whisper. "now, did you get your results in for your test."

"No…. I'm nervous Iz"

"Don't be, you did great!"

"you sure?"

"hey, I helped you, and lets face it…. I'm one bad-ass surgeon!"

Izzie smiled and Alex returned it with his own smirk. It was good they were friends. It was good that they were close again. It was good that they had a chance to be lovers again, in the future/ But it was great that he got a perfect score on the boards.

Hehe…. Lets see how I did THIS time./…. I'll admit it was not my best, but hey I tried!
