We Live for Love

I used to wonder how we always made it. The Colonel and I have had many close calls but we always came home.
I finally figured out why.
Love. It's as simple as that. We always make it back because we need to be there for each other. We have to support each other and let the other know that we are still there - waiting. We refuse to let the other one give up in the dire situations we find ourselves in. We keep coming back so that we are both here to be together when we finally can be.
Author's Note: It's kind of cheesy I know. I couldn't figure out how to write out my thoughts but I think there is some truth to my ill-expressed words.
