Kakashi licked his lips as he gazed upon the smooth muscled back of Iruka. He snorted lightly as he watched the man lay comfortably on the bed, fully naked on his stomach with his arms bunched under the pillows to prop it up.

Grinning devilishly, he stalked over to the man that appeared to be sleeping. Straddling the back of Iruka's thighs, Kakshi leaned down to plant a soft kiss on the chuunin's tail bone. He heard a soft sigh, but ignored it and continued to trail kisses up his spine.

The jounin's tongue darted out along the crease of Iruka's scarred, but smooth back and finally he got the response he was looking for. The man below him gasped and looked over his shoulder to glare at the scarecrow before trying to get comfortable again.

The said man frowned and lowered his weight onto Iruka. Their bodies now flush together, he said, "wake up. I know you're not asleep," Kakashi growled a little, nipping his ear.

"I was trying to sleep," Iruka yawned.

"You need to get up," Kakashi demanded.

"No, I want to sleep, asshole," Iruka grumbled.

"You can sleep later," Kakashi reasoned with him, as he slid a firm hand down Iruka's torso to the crease of his hip to squeeze lightly.

"I'm tired," Iruka complained. "I had to deal with kids all day."

"I did, too."

"Yeah, three, not thirty of them," Iruka argued.

Kakashi sighed and rolled his eyes as he got off of the chuunin and decided that something needed to be done, now. Pulling off the blanket that covered only the teacher's legs, he brought his hand down firmly on the exposed buttocks.

Iruka yelped and rolled over on his side clutching his burning ass cheek that now had a red tint to it, "What the hell was that for?"

"Get up," Kakashi said with an air of decisiveness.

Iruka glared at the jounin, stilling holding and rubbing his behind, "Why? Why do I need to get up?"

Kakashi's jaw suddenly went slack as he stared at the chuunin in disbelief, "You don't remember." It was more of a statement, than a question.

Iruka frowned and gathered the blankets that were so rudely thrown off of him and situated himself again to settle in for a nice long nap. There was no way in hell Kakashi was getting him out of this bed, unless the world was coming to an end, but he highly doubted that would happen any time soon.

The lower class sensei raised an eyebrow at him and held the blankets up, silently asking if the jounin would like to crawl in with him. Kakashi sighed and chose the offering. He wrapped his arms around Iruka, resting his head on his chest.

"You really don't remember what today is?" Kakashi asked, sounding a wee bit hurt, even.

"No, I do not know what today is," Iruka closed his eyes and nuzzled the silvery mop.

"Today is our first anniversary, jackass," the sensei grunted.

Iruka's eyes shot open and he groaned inwardly. Ah shit.
