POEM: This is the frist of anything I have ever publicly submitted. It's a little angsty poem about a Depressed Shuichi trying to get Yuki's attention.

It All Fades to Black

You are half a world away

Even though you are in the next room

Do you still notice me?

Do you even care if I'm here to stay?

You are my soul

You are my faith

You are the star that guides me near

To you am I meaningless?

More than anything in life this is what I fear.

If I were caught out in the rain

And were to scream your name

Would you hear me and pull me close to hold?

Would you protect me from the cold?

Is this whole love affair in vain?

If I've meant anything to you

Please hear my plea

I'm begging you keep me from this pain.

I cannot go on living this way

Without you I will simply cease to exist

Though with you I am slowly dying from the inside out

Only you can save me now, you should know the words to say.

I try once more to get your attention

But you just turn your back

So I guess this is the final curtain call

I take this handful of pills and let it all fade to black.
