All I wanted….
Disclaimer: I have no form of ownership of Power Puff Girls.
All I wanted was to be loved by Townsville like they loved you.
Princess remembered that she had said something to that effect years ago in Pre-School at Pokey Oaks. Now however she could care less.
By grade 4 she had given up here attempts to become a PPG and to destroy the original Power Puff Girls. Now at fifteen she was the self-absorbed rich cheerleader bitch of Townsville Prestigious Private High School. Here she was popular and had people adoring here and wanting to be her. Here she was 'loved' and no one cared that she wasn't a Power Puff Girl. All that mattered was that she was rich, beautiful and powerful. Meaning that she had lots of money, was physically beautiful to the highest level and came from a powerful family with a prestigious last name. As long as she had those three things she was loved. She could pretend that those who hated her because of her past attacks on both Townsville and their feminine super powered heroes didn't exist.
It wasn't the healthiest or stable kind of love. Being loved for (your) money, beauty, and power. But it was love all the same. And Princess relished the attention and secretly cherished the love she was able to receive.
All I wanted was to be loved by Townsville like they loved you.
Princess knew that Townsville would never love her like they love the Power Puff Girls. This still hurt her despite all the years she hung up her suits and plans to be a PPG or villain up for good. She had really wanted to be an adored hero. But she now knew that it wasn't meant to be. She was Princess Morebucks. The extremely beautiful red head who'd be loved as long as she remained beautiful, rich and powerful. That was all she was. All that she was meant to be. And she could accept that.
All I wanted was to be loved by Townsville like they loved you.
But the little girl of her past couldn't and sometimes Princess felt a tug from inside her and this one quote echoed deep from within the recesses of her mind.
All I wanted was to be loved by Townsville like they loved you.
The End
I hope everyone who has read this story has enjoyed it and if you haven't please give me a valid reason when you review (and not 'cause it sucked' or 'I don't like it that much' or 'you can't write!'- when it comes to the last one I'll respond negatively if you don't give a valid and respectful reason for such a statement). I thought it would be interesting to view Princess like this. I'm certain that it's been done before but I hope that readers can still enjoy and I'll love all reviews; positive or negative.
