Song fiction: Silly Songs with Lemontime
"Hay Aang lets see what's going on down there" said Katara pointing at a group of kids standing next to a farmhouse. (They were of course traveling to Bashing say (sp?) for Aang's earth bender training.)
"How about we not" said Sokka.
"Alright" said Aang ignoring Sokkas comment.
When they landed they saw there were five kids and were holding music instruments like guitars and drums. They apparently were getting ready to play a song so Aang got off Appa and sat on the low fence next to a girl with brown hair that she had put into a graceful ponytail with a green ribbon. She had hazel eyes and was holding a wooden guitar.
She smiled at him and said "hi I'm Katy, who are you?"
"Hi, I'm Aang," said Aang. "Are you about to play a song?"
"Yes," said Katy.
"Hey," said one of the kids with blue eyes, brown hair that stood in short spikes strait up, and was holding a guitar. "Who are these three? And what's with the buffalo?"
"Hi, I'm Aang," said Aang again hopping off the fence, "this is Katara," he pointed at Katara who had just got off Appa. "And this is Sokka," he pointed a Sokka who was having difficulty getting off Appa and landed flat on his back. (Or but, anyway you find more hilarious and luxurious) "And this is my flying bison Appa."
"Okay, well I'm Kyle," said the boy, "this is Katy" he pointed to Katy who was still sitting on the fence. "This is Xavier, but we just call him X" He pointed to a boy with dark brown eyes, brown completion, short cut black hair, and was holding a drum. "This is Lucy," he said pointing to a girl holding another drum, with blond hair tied into a bun, blue eyes and pink cheeks. "And Mat" he said pointing to a black haired boy with blue eyes and was holding a guitar too. "And we are Lemontime."
"What do you mean we?" said Sokka. "And where do you come up with the name Lemontime?"
"Well, for people who can drink lemon juice with out added water or sugar for an hour strait without cringing" said Katy.
"And why would you want to do that for?" asked Aang.
"I don't know," said Katy "but when you get as bored as us five do you might find yourself doing some weird and stupid things."
"I heard that," said Katara looking a Sokka for turning back to the five friends.
"But we finally found something to do with that time that we have," said the boy named X.
"We formed a band to play new and more refreshing music" said the boy named Mat.
"And we are just now practicing our new song," said the girl named Lucy.
"Well let's hear it," said Aang.
"Okay," said Mat "And now it's time for silly songs with Lemontime, the part of the day where Lemontime comes out and sings a silly song."
"I wonder why it's silly?" said Katara.
Katy and Kyle start strumming and X, Lucy and, Mat starts beating on the drums softly with their hands.
"The water buffalo song,"
"Oh that's why it's silly."
Katy and Kyle sing: Everybody's got a water buffalo you know yours is fast but mine is slow-oh-oh. Where did jah get them, well I don't know, but everybody's got water buffalo-oh-oh-oh-yah.
X sing: yah that's right, we'll break it down, like we use to. I want everybody singing. C'mon, two, three, four.
All Lemon time's start singing: Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo.
Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo.
I took my buffalo to the store, Got his head stuck in the door-oh-oh, Spilled some Lima beans on the floor, everybody's got a water buffalo-oh-oh-oh-yah.
Lucy said pointing at Appa: Look there's one.
Aang said: actually he's a flying Bison.
Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo.
Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo.
X stops beating the drum and everyone stops playing their instruments
X said: Whoa! Whoa! You Guys, you guys! Hold on! I don't think we should say everybody's got a water buffalo when everybody aint got no water buffalo! Man we even got no water buffalo! I bet we're gona get nasty comments say 'en 'where's my water buffalo! Why aint I got no water buffalo Lemontime!' you guys ready to deal with that! I don't think so! Let's not do this song anymore!
X walks over to the barn house all mad and slams the door behind him.
Obviously this wasn't part of the song because Katy, Kyle, Lucy, and Mat looked just as stunned as Aang, Katara, and Sokka.
Katy looks over at the rest of the remaining Lemontimes and everyone starts whispering so quietly that no one could hear it but them. Then they just start singing in a whisper just loud enough for Aang, Katara, and Sokka could hear:
Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo. It starts getting louder and start using instruments softly
Everybody, everybody, (Hay) everybody, (you guys still singing out there) everybody, everybody, (Hay, Hay!) everybody, (I told you guys!) everybody's (HAY!) got a water buffalo.
Starts screaming Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo!
Katy singing like a gospel singer: Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody's got a water buffalo!
X like a gospel singer: everybody, everybody, everybody, got a wat-er bu-fal- ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Oh! That was good, but I lost where I was going.
