Bloody Darkness
I am lying here,
On the cold hard ground,
Too many wounds have been inflicted on my body,
And to my soul,
So my body has ceased to move,
And my soul has given up on life,
Everyone has left me behind,
They walked out of my life,
Turned there backto me,
Like I was nothing to them,
They shunned me,
And left me to die here,
Alone,
So now I lie here,
In the dark,
The blood is pouring out of my wounds,
My wounds haven't even bothered to heal,
When the darkness comes,
It caresses my face,
It is very cold now,
But I am used to this,
It pulls me from the light,
And into the darkness,
My body is now almost completely immersed,
No one can help me now,
I am alone,
I have been forgotten,
And all those people that once called themselves,
My friends,
Are no more,
They have forgotten about me,
So I lie here,
In the darkness,
As it pulls me closer,
To the end,
Everything has disappeared from my memory,
The darkness has taken it all,
So I just close my eyes,
And I give in to the dark,
For I have nothing left any longer.
