Chapter 3: Milk
Betty went over to Rock and gave him a hard slap. Then she stomped away angrily.
"Great," said Rock. "Now she hates me."
"Don't insult the cheese," said Roy happily. He knew Rock will never stand a chance with Betty. Even if she was peppy, ditsy, and annoying, Roy loved her as a sister. He took care of her, too.
Everyone was very happy to meet Betty. They knew things will never be as quiet in Forget-Me-Not Valley anymore.
"Oh, we still have to introduce you to one more person," said Vesta.
"Cheese," pronounced Betty.
"No, Marlin," said Vesta, dragging Betty along by the wrist. Betty was sticking her tongue out and cross-eyed. Vesta dragged her all the way to the plantation were they sold seeds.
"Hey Betty," whispered Vesta. "I'll tell you one of Marlin's secrets. The reason he didn't come is because he's really shy; especially to a gal neighbor as cute as you. Vesta laughed all the way there. Betty started laughing, too. They were more like girly giggles.
But she didn't know why she was doing it in the first place.
Alas, they reach the plantation.
Back at the beach…
"God dammit!" Screamed Roy. "I lost my sister!"
Everyone: Uh oh!
Next thing you know, everyone was doing a frantic beach search for Betty. Rock even jumped in the water because he thought she was drowning. Well, at the end, Roy had to save Rock from drowning. It was a sad day for Rock indeed.
Betty was still giggling when she reached the plantation.
"You can stop now!" Vesta said starting to get annoyed.
Betty ignored her. "Cheese!"
Vesta turned the knob on one of the small huts. The door opened…
