Chapter 4: Huggles
There stood Marlin.
When Betty saw Marlin, this is what she said. "Hey look kids, it's Elvis!"
Marlin was already nervous about the situation. He was trying to hide he was blushing.
"Marlin, this here is Betty," Vesta said about to burst out laughing at Marlin.
"It's the Fonz!" Betty said loudly.
Marlin had no idea what to say. Would he hurt her feelings? "Um, I-uh-"
"Oh my god! It's Jessie from Full House!" Betty said star struck.
"No Betty, this is Marlin," said Vesta slowly.
Betty store at him closely. You can say a classic case of love at first sight. Betty didn't know it though. Suddenly, her legs were like jello.
"Yay! My heart is slowing down!" Betty said, waving her arms up. Vesta burst out laughing. Marlin became even more nervous.
"Give me a huggle." Betty said, throwing herself on Marlin. Marlin just stood still. He froze in utter confusion. Vesta laughed at this sight. She was going to get the camera, but she didn't because she was going to miss this sight.
"You should have seen the look on your face! I'll just leave you guys alone." Vesta laughed out the door.
"Bye bye," said Betty, cheerfully hopping out the door.
Marlin just stood there in shock. He didn't know if he liked it or hated it. He didn't know what exactly next to do. Betty happily skipped home. Roy spotted her.
"Oh lord, Betty, thank god you're safe."
"I just went off to meet a really nice guy," Betty said excited.
"Rock?" Roy said, suddenly feeling that fear come back.
"Nope!" Betty said hopping up and down.
"Then who!" Roy said even more worried. He was thinking of guys like Daryl or Kody.
"Elvis Presley…"
