Author note: Ok, here's my first fanfic. I hope all of you like it. Note: I do not claim the characters from fruits basket. They are not my characters but from a comic…fruits basket. Hahaha. By the way, this is a KxT although you may not believe that at first.
Tohru walked into the kitchen humming a little tune. She opened the drawer under the sink and pulled out a knife, then turned towards the fridge. A tall figure was leaning against the fridge door causing Tohru to jump. "Oh Kyo!" she jumped. "Hey," he said still focused on the milk carton turned upside down above his mouth. "No more milk,.." he said looking into the opening. "Oh, well,….. I'll go get some right now," she turned around. Kyo sighed, "You don't have to do that," he closed the fridge door, "I'll go." He threw the carton away and started to walk out into the den." Three, two, one," he mumbled to himself. "Kyo wait," she yelled from the kitchen grabbing two coats. " I'll come too, it's snowing out there and I don't want you to get lost." "I'd be more worried about you getting lost," he mumbled. "Hmm?" "Nothing, nothing," he smirked. Kyo took the coat from her and put it on, and then he opened the door and walked outside. It was, infact, snowing. A sheet of white had covered the ground and each step made a crunching noise in the snow. They walked past Yuki's "secret base." The leeks were frozen, covered in a sheet of ice. "We should probably pick those before they go bad," Tohru said franticly. Kyo cringed. "Or we could go get some milk," she said smiling, trying not to laugh.
When they got to the store it was crowded. "Excuse me, pardon me," Tohru said sweetly trying to get around people, while Kyo on the other hand, "move it, get out of our way," was pushing everyone aside. "Ok so, what should we have for dinner?" Just getting past someone he said, " I DON'T CARE JUST HURRY THE HELL UP!" Then he spotted someone awfully familiar, silver hair, tall and- "TOHRU!" he yelled trying not to yell to loud. "Wha- "Come here!" He grabbed her arm and pulled her to the aisle behind Yuki. "Look," he pointed at Yuki. "Sohma-Kun!" she yelled smiling. Kyo sighed. He turned, "oh hi Honda-san," he bowed then saw kyo and bowed again, "Stupid cat." He smirked. Kyo clenched his fists, "wanna take this outside, girly man?" "No," Yuki said calmly looking back at Tohru. Kyo was flustered "Why are you so damn calm all the time?" Yuki was still looking at Tohru, "cause if I wasn't I would be like you." Kyo's eyes went big and Tohru turned to him. "Anyways,.." she smiled trying to change the subject, "Kyo and I were just here getting some milk, what brings you here Sohma-kun?" "Well, if you must know I'm here to pick up Kisa-san, she is staying with us for the next couple days." Just then Kisa came bounding around the corner. "Onee-chan!" she smiled and ran into Tohru giving her a big hug. "Oh hi Kisa-san, how did u get here?" she smiled. " Did you have to ask, that damn doctor brought her," Kyo smirked just as Hatori came around the corner. "Sorry about that, Kisa come here," Hatori frowned. "No its ok, really," she smiled down at Kisa. "Thank you for keeping her for the week, she-, "THAT LITTLE RUNT IS GONNA BE WITH US FOR A WEEK?" Kyo yelled. " Yes," he said calmly "she needs a place to stay her parents are on vacation and I will be with them." "Well were glad to have her." She held onto Kisa's shoulders. After some visiting Hatori left and they all said goodbye and so started the new week.
