Trying To Get The Door
I wrote this in memory of my muse. Which deserted me before I started this. So I wrote it quickly and to me it seems a bit rushed. Please tell me what you think. I plan on this being a one-shot however if you want me to continue just tell me(unlikely). But that can be changed by you. Yes, you. All you have to do is press the button down there and tell me how to get to the stupid door and criticise me on my bad writing. Falls down weeping Well, go on. Read now.
Crono, Marle and Ayla were frustrated, hungry and tired. They were in 2300 A.D. The blonde princess was holding the Pendant they would use to break the seal of a door inside the Dome. She briefly wondered if she was related to… the girl in… the clouds. Marle sighed, she had evidently forgotten her name.
The time travellers had rested in the Enetron and were now making their way to the stairs in the middle. Once they had reached the ladder, they descended into the room below the people and their plant. They walked over to the right-hand door and entered.
Crono ran over the grilles, towards the only other door in the room, the others not too far behind. In the next room, robots walked around, seemingly oblivious to the trio running around the room. But their luck ran out a few meters from the door. A Proto 2 came at them. Crono charged at it with the Aeon Blade, Marle cast Ice and Ayla attacked with her Fist. (They didn't really need to do all that, I just felt like adding those in) The monster vanished, Marle jumped up and down triumphantly.
"Whoo hoo!" she shouted. They went down the staircase and stopped. Why? Because they couldn't go further (duh) and the staircase ended just before the platform in front of the door. "How are we suppose to open the door if we can't reach it?" her question met silence.
"Maybe…" Crono began, but abruptly paused, a thinking expression on his face. A similar expression pasted itself onto his team-members' face.
"What if we defeat all the enemies in the room?" Marle suggested. Ayla nodded her agreement and took off towards three rats and a Proto 2. Crono sighed then added his own consent. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
They came back to the door. Except this time, they had chosen to stand on the platform opposite the stairs. Everyone sighed in frustration. Exactly, how were they suppose to get to the door?
Okay, I leave you there. My creativeness ends, as does my head and my game. Help me? Please? I swear I shall kill that door if I can't get to it. Please read and review, I really want to get into that door. But the empty space eludes me. Oh well, bye now. (That probably didn't make any sense, but as the writer of this fic, I shall say that… well you tell me what I should say, cause I don't)
