Chapter 1: A well thought-out plan
Harry stepped off the train into blinding sunshine and stopped a moment to admire the Swiss Alps. He was jolted out of his reverie by an obnoxious voice behind him
"Move
along there,"
said the current Minister for Magic in the U.K. Harry shot his best
friend Ron a look before moving out of the way. Harry
found himself a bench and sat
down with Ron to wait
for their two other best friends, Hermione Granger, and Ginny
Weasley (who happened to be Ron's sister).
Harry and his friends had recently been sent to Switzerland for
their part in the capture of famous criminal Peter Pettigrew. Harry
and his friends had been ecstatic until the minister had mentioned in
public that he would be accompanying them to "get to know them all
better". Little did the minister know that Harry and the
gang had a plan to lose him as soon as possible. As soon as Ginny and
Hermione got off the train Harry winked at them and moved of towards
the minister.
"Hi, Mr. Fudge," said Harry, trying to appear calm and collected.
"What
is it?" Mr. Fudge asked rudely.
"Well, I
thought maybe we could all get going to the MUGGLE HOTEL
before heading up to the cottage tomorrow,"
said Harry.
"Oh!
I suppose," said Fudge in a distracted manner clearly
not realizing what Harry had said.
Harry had knowingly picked the worst muggle hotel in town,
as it played a big part in his plans that Fudge got the worst service
in Switzerland.
On
the way to the Hotel Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny al sat in the
back of the Swedish taxi, while the minister sat in front and talked
politics with the cab driver. As he sat back and relaxed Harry
started to notice weird people outside the car making rude gestures
at the minister.
"Oh man we have to get away from him"
thought Harry out loud
Both Ron and Hermione looked at him like
he was crazy but Ginny caught his drift
"Ya I know" she said
quietly so the minister couldn't hear "I didn't know he had so
many fans.
"Well let's just see how our plan goes" said
Harry "If it doesn't work we can always go to plan B".
Up
front the Minister chatted away with the Cabby, not knowing that
behind him the teens were plotting against him.
