All the world watched
As their hero fell, blinded
By his tears and the ones he hid.
As he rose from the pain,
And from his broken heart shattering
Inside his soul and hole from lost soul mate and fellows,
His followers cheered all as one,
As one lonely soul walked away.
No hero could rescue him,
His mind was out of reach,
And all he could see and feel was pain.
He was so cold, so set, so stone.
He wiped away the cascading crystal,
As the surrounding crowd clapped for their hero.
They all had eyes to watch their idol,
But not one soul or heart heard his call.
He was dying inside, and all he could do was
Survive. He lived, he breathed, all in the hope
That the pain would be slept away.
But he knows he is not welcome,
And so he fades away into the scene.
And as the hero in front glows beaken bright,
And his loved ones gather in adoration,
He walks away. His stone eyes masked by glass,
He will never care again.
