"The Faux C"

Disclaimer: I have know rights to "The O.C.", all I've written is purely from a fan's point of view. And, yes, this is a complete parody which started out as a school project, strangely enough. So have fun and please respond.

This takes place right after Lindsay decides she wants to go to Chicago, Marissa gets involved with Alex, and Seth is upset about Summer (when isn't he).

Ryan's fists were starting to hurt, so finally, after minutes of non-stop punching, he stopped. Shaking his hair back, out of his face, he looked down at his "fists of fury"as Seth had nicknamed them. Looking at the man he said, "Oh, sorry, man."

Holding his nose with both hands, Ryan's victim said, "What'd you do that for? Who are you?"

"I'm the kid from the wrong side of the tracks. I have issues, I thought everyone knew that."

"Well I didn't, now I'm gonna look like Michael Jackson." Keeping his nose hidden, the stranger ran off.

Ryan Atwood stood, taking in a deep breath.

A hand came down on his shoulder and without thinking he turned and swung. His fist made contact, and only then did he see his "attacker". "Oh, God..."

"Hey, dude, what's up?"

Seth Cohen stood back, nursing a newly bruised jaw. "Seriously. Ow, dude!"

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I have a lot of built up rage."

Shaking off the act of violence, the tall. dark haired teenager said, "Man, you're like the Hulk, but your shirt stays on. And, of course, you;re not green, and..."

"Seth, I get it. But, c'mon, let's focus on me, again. I'm hurting." Ryan turned to walk along the boardwalk, leaving Seth to follow his trail. The blond's blue eyes drooped and he was very much in his infamous brooding mood and really felt like he needed to talk but wouldn't, of course.

"Yo, man, it's my turn; I'm hurting," Ryan's newly found adopted brother quickened his pace to keep up with him, but could not surpass the brooding. "It's Summer. She's with Zach now , right now, probably driving up to her house, kissing her goodnight, leaving her way unsatisfied and all alone in her house."

"But what about Lindsay? She wants to go to Chicago. Leaving me alone here with the lesbian girl next door who's my ex and who might still have feelings for me."

Both took in a deep, low breath and let it out. "Guess we're destined to be alone." ryan only nodded at Seth's comment. The two walked home, their fabulous home, thinking of how miserable their lives are.

"Oh, I thought you two would be watching "Hellboy". I was hoping to watch it." Sandy Cohen was walking from the kitchen with a half-empty beer bottle in his hand as Seth and Ryan walked in. "Your mom is being all jealous again and I can't handle her. And she went over to Julie Cooper's and now I don't..."

"Alright, Dad. I'd love to hear of your mistrials in your twenty long years of marriage but we have our own love lives to think about." With that Seht took his leave upstairs to his bedroom to be with Captain Oats.

Sandy's eyes went wide under his dark eyebrows, "Oh, Ryan, that reminds me. Lindsay's in the pool house waiting for you, with some girl. I think it's one of Seth's old girlfriends."

"Summer?"

"No."

"Anna?"

"No."

"Alex?"

"She the one with the tatoo?"

"That'd be Alex." Both nodded and headed out of the kitchen.

Ryan went to the pool house, seeing Lindsay right through the glass door with Alex he called to her, "Hey, what's up?"

"Oh my God, Ryan. Alex's dad just got hitched to my mom. We're sisters!" Lindsay's eyes were wide with excitement.

"Wait, wait, what? You and Alex?" Lindsay and Alex both nodded. "And you and Kristen and Hayley? And Marissa and Caitlyn?" They nodded again. "So, what? Now you're Lindsay Kelly?"
