Light rain dropped from the grey, dismal sky. A soft breeze swam thought the little gathering of friends. Standing at the edge of the freshly dug grave, each friend gathered around with a single rose of different colour held in their hand. Looking down onto their once friend, that had left their side to be with the gods forever. Soft tears of sadness and hurt ran down their faces. Not a sound could be heard.
Slowly a hand moved forward, a single rose fell gracefully down onto the coffin, a solum Joey stood above. He bent down and whispered "friendship" to the coffin. Standing up and moving so a pink rose could lie next to the yellow one.
"Happiness" tea said.
"Grace" Ryou whispered. Choking back a sob that tried to escape his mouth. A warm arm wrapped around his waist.
"Innocence" said Bakura as he placed a white flower down onto the coffin.
Tristan and Seto both stepped forward. Two roses, one peach and one burgundy fell to lie upon their friend's bed.
"Admiration" Tristan mummed
"Unconscious beauty" Seto said.
A light breeze ruffled the trees and the coats the friends wore. Soft whispered were heard, a head looked up from its resting place that was looking at the ground.
"Love a first site" Rebecca cried as a purple rose dropped and fell on her only love. A little boy, with long black hair stepped forward. Crouching down to lean forward and place gently a black rose onto the delicate bed.
"Farewell" whispered mokbua.
A lone shadow was the last to step forward. No longer clad head to toe in leather, but a plain black suit with a small red rose attached to his shirt. Rivets of tears ran down his smooth tan cheeks. Coming to kneel in front to the grave, he placed a beautiful red rose onto the resting place of his lover.
"Love" was only just heard from the mouth of the teen.
A priest all dressed in white stood at the front of the grave. Watching. Looking to the small group the priest started the closing ceremony. Bakura, Seto, Joey and Tristan each took a hold of a rope and slowly lowered the bed into its lonely grave.
"This young boy was a friend to us all, friendship. He was always happy and made others happy but just seeing his bright smile and large amethyst eyes, happiness. He was like an angel, grace. He was full of purity, Innocence. Many people admired his strength and courage, admiration. He was as beautiful as a flower both on the inside and the out, unconscious beauty. Many loved him when they first meet him, love at first site. We all say goodbye, farewell. Never forget that we all care very deeply for you. Love."
The bed of roses was finally out of site, never to be seen again but always to be remembered. The rain was falling upon the earth lightly, many of the friends turned away and left before the rain got any worse. Only one was left behind. Kneeling down upon the now covered bed, the young man could see the headstone and the name of the one he loved so much written there.
Yugi Mutou
A friend, lover and grandson
We will never forget you
1989-2006
A silent watcher was standing off to the side, watching the teen kneel and the grave. Watching him stand and fade away in the distance. Young Yugi Mutou faded from site. Only to be seen again when they became angels themselves.
OMG, how sad was that! I almost cried, wait, ill take that back, I was crying while I wrote that. Im really sorry I had to kill Yugi, but it's just how the story went. Anyway please review.
