In her eyes, Nagini was nothing short of a spoiled brat. Just because she could speak the sacred language of her Master – just because she slithered on her belly instead of walking on two feet – what was so special about her? What did he see in her? She was just a useless animal; a stupid serpent. Surely she was a better pet… she had to be. What more could you ask for? A woman, full and strong, willing to do anything at your command?
Bellatrix dropped poison into Nagini's feeding pit.
If this didn't end her reign… then what would?
