Chapter 1: The Capture

The moment Rayman awoke from his slumber, he knew something was wrong. Today was different somehow, and he could sense it. The birds weren't chirping their usual happy tunes, the usual steady breeze didn't blow by, and a layer of fog covered the land. Something evil was approaching, and as usual, he hunched it had something to do with him. Though he wasn't quite sure what it was, or who it was, at that very moment. Unsatisfied, he continued the day peacefully. By lunch time it had gotten worse. He would catch glances of horrific shaped shadows in the forest by his home as he walked, and the sky turned an eery dark purple color.
Rayman stood waiting by the pond to meet with his friend Globox, as usual, to eat lunch. Globox, not being the brightest lad, thought nothing of this strange disturbance Rayman had felt earlier and walked towards the pond. Though of course, as usual, he got distracted. Walking along Globox spotted a new restaurant that he hadn't noticed before. Of course he, being the fat lummox that he is, wanted to go check it out. By that time he had forgotten all about his prior engagement with Rayman. The place was a dismal looking shack at best though, and as soon as Globox spotted the "All you can eat" buffet sign his heart was set.
"Uhhh... Uhhhh... ALL YOU CAN EAT!" Globox shouted with a burst of exitement as he ran towards the restaurant.
"Yes, yes come in." A sinister looking old man hissed from inside the restaurant.
As Globox reached the entrance he realized something was amiss inside. There were no tables, chairs, not even a buffet bar. The old man had disappeared as well.
"Hey wait! where's the foo-" Globox started to say as the door slammed shut.
He tried to open the door with all his might, but to no avail, the door was locked. Then, Globox got mad. And when Globox gets mad, he can get dangerous.
The one thing never to lie about to Globox is his food.
Globox, shouting in a furious manner that could almost be mistaken for a car backfiring, started to back up to get ready to break the door down, but it was too late. As he turned around to check one last time to see if the room was barren, he saw them. Robot Pirates. They had returned, and had their guns pointing straight at Globox's head.
His raised his head, eyes aflame,"I... will... DESTROY YOU!" He screamed running towards his offenders.
They shot at him mercilessly but it was of no use. Globox was too enraged to notice the laser shots striking his thick hide. He crashed into the robot on his left and sent it crashing to wall shattering it's metal body. As Globox turned around and got ready to charge the other one, the robot looked up and became straight. Globox would have realized that it was receiving a command, but he was too furious to think anything of it. As he started his charge, the robot pressed a small button on his arm and the sound of a lock unhitching was heard from above. Almost immediately, a crate fell from the ceiling and crashed upon Globox. He was stuck
He thrashed and punched the crate to get free but it was of no use.
"HA HA HA!" Said the robot pirate, "FOOLISH ANIMAL! THIS CRATE IS MADE OF THE STRONGEST METAL IN THE UNIVERSE!"
"LET... ME... GO!" Globax screamed still thrashing at the cage.
Within a few minutes, reinforcements had arrived. The pirates carried the cage to their ship, and to their new leader.
