Here we lay on the grass

Staring each other in the eye

After rolling around for what seems like hours

You said you meant to kiss me

But I find that hard to believe

Seeing as you tackled me instead

"Your late" I whisper and kiss you softly

"I know" comes your soft reply

As you lean into my arms

"Do you love me?"

"What kinda question is that dobe?"

I look into your deep blue eyes

You seem sad by my answer

So I kiss you to answer it better

I hear the others coming behind us

What a site we must be

Laying at the bottom of the hill

You almost asleep right next to

"Sasuke!"

"Naruto!"

I stay still against you

Not wanting to leave the warmth of your body

But I know our time alone is over for now
