Dark Beginnings
Robin is still here,
The flames haven't come back to torture me,
Yet,
Although I feel like something inside of me,
Is growing,
It's a dark burning sensation,
I do not know what it is,
So I do not know how to fight it,
When I sleep it calls to me,
The flames are telling me to give in,
They say that Robin can't protect me forever,
And when he leaves,
I will fall to them,
In my dreams I can see them,
They are slowly coming toward me,
Smiles are growing on their faces,
And they are starting to taunt me,
And laugh at me,
I am scared,
Why are you doing this?
I ask them,
Because you belong to the flames,
And to the dark,
You cannot change what you are,
You will fall to us,
You will give in to us,
It is your destiny,
And no mortal will stand in the way of this,
This is what they tell me,

I scream at them,
But then the flames come at me,
And they surround me,
Go away,
I whimper,
But it is futile,
They won't stop until I fall,
And give in,
But then,
He is there,
And the flames slowly retreat to the dark,
They are still calling to me,
Saying,
He won't be able to save you for long,
Just a little while longer,
And you will give in to us,

And then they disappear,
Back into the darkness,
I awake,
And he is standing over me,
I hold on to him,
And I cry,
I know the flames are right,
My grip on this world is slowly fading,
And when Robin is no more,
I will fall into complete darkness,
