"I'm going to tell y'all a story that barely no one knows", said a wrinkly gray man with kind crystal eyes, "about how vengeful the gods can be, and one of reason gods should be feared.
The children surround the old man listening to is bewitching tells of the gods with eagerness in their eyes. All the children where on blankets with symbols of the gods on them. If a child moved or made noise, the other children would shush them right away. The old man continues with his tell:
"About sixteen years ago there was a daughter born of Apollo from a common women. She was the most beautiful of the area. It was said that Apollo fell in love with at first sight, but that doesn't matter. She died in child birth. She gave birth to a little girl. The child was rumored to be the most beautiful than humans and gods alike: more beautiful than Helen and Aphrodite. This angered many, but it angered Hera. She was so mad that she sent the child far away from this time to live in poverty and loneliness. And she could only come back when she was at her very wits end, and alone beyond comprehension. This is the end of the tell, and it's time to go to sleep."
All the children moaned, then went to their homes not knowing what will happen that bring new stories for bedtime.
