Rath looked up. The full moon was hanging by its tip in the black sea, with silver fish swimming all over. He held a sword in his hand, and he was sweating. Blood covered the blade, which was now covered in demonic aura. Honou laid in front him, dead. Crewger was beside his dragon, not quite dead yet, but bleeding profusely. Worst of all, Kaistern was sitting against the wall, his own blood wiped all over. One of his lenses was broken, and a thin line of blood trickled down his chin. He had his right hand placed on his left shoulder. His left arm seemed to be broken, his bone shattered inside his flesh. "Rath... why..." Kaistern murmured. Rath looked at his hands. They were shaking, now unable to even hold the sword properly, and he dropped his weapon. "K-kaistern..." He opened his mouth to call out his name, but nothing came out. The words became strings of cloudy breath and escaped into the night sky, devoured by the silver fish. It started to snow. With a clear night sky, this was impossible and Rath looked up again. He felt a cold touch on his cheek, someone calling from behind him. "Rath..." The voice called, just as cold as the touch. Rath quickly turned around, in hopes of finding the owner of the familiar voice.

"AH!" He woke up screaming. He panted furiously and clenched the sweat-soaked sheets. Another dream... He covered his face with his cold hands. Rune knocked on the door. "Rath? Are you okay?" Rath called out an answer, letting him know he was fine. Kaistern...

He had been dreaming this same exact dream, the words of Kaistern and the cold, familiar voice verbatim, not that there was too much that they said. Every time he awoke, screaming, at the point where he turned around to find the owner of the voice behind him. It had been haunting him for some time now, and there was no one to talk to about it. Kaistern would worry about him and Rath didn't want that. He loved him. He didn't want Rune or Thatz to worry, mainly because they both had missions coming up. He could not trust Lykouleon and Ruwalk; and Alfeegi would just bug him too much about it and try to bind him to the castle. He sighed again.

The sun was starting to rise, and it was probably way past the time that the Dragon Officers get up at. He caught the sweet scent of fresh-baked bread. Thatz is probably up bugging Cernozura. Rath laughed to himself, inaudibly. He jumped out of bed, shaking off the thought of the dream. He got dressed and picked up his sword, fastening it to his belt. Honou was still asleep in the corner of the bed, and Rath decided it was best if he had his rest. He trotted over to the kitchen, smiling. By the time he had gotten to the dining room, most of the Dragon Tribe were at the table, that is, with the exception of Rune and Kaistern. "Where's Kaistern? He promised that we'd go down to the village today." Rath blinked, taking a seat next to Thatz. "He's gone to collect some information for Thatz's new mission. He'll be back by lunchtime and you can go in the afternoon." Ruwalk explained calmly as he took another piece of bread that Cernozura offered. Rath nodded and started stuffing potato and bread into his mouth.

So the afternoon rolled by and Kaistern was still not back. Ruwalk, Alfeegi, Raseleane, and Lykouleon were busy trying to calm down Rath's tantrum. "HE PROMISED!" The young Knight screamed, kicking everything around him. The room was already in half-ruins, and Ruwalk had gotten quiet a few bruises. "Rath, please! He'll be back soon!" Alfeegi scolded though he knew Rath would not believe him. The four Dragons were doing their best to convince Rath that Kaistern would be back soon, but little did they know the incident that had happened downtown Dragoon...
