Tomoyo had started to be fond of the rain just a little while ago, and no one knew why.
If you'd ask her, she would turn to you with her famous smile, and softly declare,
"Himitsu."
She just didn't want to share her little secret.
A week before…
The cool winter wind blew past her face, scattering her already messy hair, but Tomoyo didn't notice.
What she did notice, however, was the fact that was it was starting to drizzle.
"Mou…!" The young lady looked up towards the sky, and raised a pale hand, as if gently caressing the small drops of water.
It was sort of a surprise when someone walked up next to her and held an umbrella over her head.
"Huh?" Tomoyo jerked her head upward, and blinked twice.
The tall, dark stranger smirked at her and said,
"Tomoyo-san?"
She blushed, light red staining her features.
"A-ano…A-arigatou!"
The man just smiled and took her hand in his, and the couple walked towards Tomoyo's house.
Tucking a curl neatly behind her ear, Tomoyo smiled.
Leaning over the bridge slightly, her long fingertips brushed the water, sending ripples throughout the quaint river.
She giggled when the man from last week picked her up and twirled her around, ending with gentle brush of lips.
When there's a cause, there's always an effect.
