Unfinished Business
Author's notes: This story has been bugging me for almost six months, but I did not give myself the time to sit down and write it until now. For starters, I am not a writer and this is my first fanfic, so any constructive criticism will be welcomed; also, english is not my mother language, so if you notice any mistake let me know so I can correct it.
This story doesn't follow any other TMNT Universe, you could say this is a new universe for this characters created by myself, with a few hints here and there of the new toon, only that Shredder here was human, and Stockman is still in one piece.
Disclaimer: I do not own the ninja turtles, nor any other character used for this story. If they were mine, I wouldn't be posting on a site named would I? They all belong to Peter Laird and Mirage Comics.
Introduction:
For some years, the turtles have had to face many battles against their arch-enemy, Oroku Saki, also known as The Shredder. Sometimes they would succeed, others they wouldn't be so lucky. Shredder had always been a thorn in their shoe, even before they had mutated from four baby turtle pets to Ninja Teenagers, by killing Splinter's sensei: Hamato Yoshi.
Splinter trained them so they could help him avenge Master Yoshi, and finally succeeded by killing The Shredder at last. They had finally avenged Hamato Yoshi. Yet they never thought that there was someone who would want to avenge Saki, his daughter Karai.
Karai swore to avenge her master and mentor, and after a gruesome battle that left Master Splinter with a fractured leg, and some other wounds for the turtles, they managed to escape from her and went to Casey's farm in Northampton to heal their wounds and to prepare themselves to battle against Karai, and her new army of Foot Soldiers.
Meanwhile, Karai kept following Saki's steps and managed to trick the New York government to make them believe that she and her company had been helping the city develop new security equipment for banks and all kind of government buildings, and helping the police to prevent new crimes, while secretly getting all the sources to make her empire bigger and strike when they least expected. She also captured the acknowledged scientist Baxter Stockman, and forced him to develop a drug to use against the turtles so she could get her longing revenge. They had killed the man who gave her a home and saved her from starvation... they had killed... her father...
At the same time, in Northampton, the turtles and Splinter were recovering from the injuries, and training so they could strike back. April O'Neil and Casey Jones were with them to help them take care of Splinter's leg. They kept training every day… They knew that Karai would be after them, so they had to be prepared to face her.
Three weeks later… the day had come….
