I was laying in my bed, feeling the soft covers hug themselves to my naked body, the sensation of the soft material against my flesh sending a shiver down my spine. Turning my head, I watched the beautiful stars twinkle over my head, sending some comfort down to me as I was laying so alone in my bed.
My heart beat faster as I thought of the one I loved and how much I missed him. The softness of his hands on my skin, his breath against my flesh, the tender words that slipped from his soft lips and into my heart. The beating of his heart under my hands as I touched his skin, just as he touched my skin with such tenderness that only he could possess.
Feeling my own breath quicken, I pulled the covers close to me in a desperate attempt to ease the loneliness I was feeling by the absence of my lover.
Watching the stars, I sought some comfort before it suddenly dawned on me.
Jerking up from my bed, I felt how the covers slipped off my body and the cool air rushed against my skin. Glaring up towards the sky, I yelled:
"Where the fuck is my roof!"
