Chapter 1: Taunts
Dave picked up the baby and held it close. It looked up at Dave and gave a small smile. Dave smiled back at it and thought, 'How could you have your powers at this young age? Do you have dark magic running through you as well?' Dave put the child back into the cradle and sat down on his couch that was in his room. He sat back and closed his eyes for a moment.
He heard someone open the door and walk in. He heard the door close and he opened his eyes to see who entered the room. Chang walked over to the cradle with a smile playing on her lips. "So, you are going to take care of it for us?" she asked Dave. "I was taking care of it before you even asked," Dave said to her, trying not to lose his temper.
"That is good. You should take good care of it," Chang said. "And why is that?" Dave asked. "Let's just say that you are related to him. You will find out later on," Chang said, and picked up the baby. "Tell me now!" Dave said, standing up. "Later Dave. You already know enough for now," Chang told him. "Knowing that Jake is my brother is not enough," Dave said to her. Chang put the baby down and left the room, closing the door saying, "You will find out more later. Just know that if you want to live, you will follow orders."
