Chapter Two
Day One
There were footsteps down the corridor. The ancient doors swung open, and Professor Simmons walked into the room.
"Good morning class," he said. "Stand up Granger." He said, looking at Hermione. She stood up. " Do that spell that makes CD players work."
She sighed, muttered an incantation and pointed her wand at the CD player.
'You can't stop rock 'n' roll' blasted out of the speakers. When it had finished, Prof. Simmons said to Hermione:
"Name the band."
"What sort of music was that?" She said.
"They said you were the clever one. That was, 'You can't stop rock 'n' roll' by Twisted Sister."
Everyone stared at him. "I can tell this is gonna take a while."
After class Harry, Ron and Hermione gathered in the Gryffindor common room.
"He's mental." Said Ron.
"Absolutely mental." Said Harry.
"Completely insane." Hermione.
"Hey," Said Ron," Did you hear the news?"
"No?" Said Harry.
"Well, they have to hold the Tri wizard tournament one year early, and Madam Maxime got murdered so it isn't safe to have it there, and they're rebuilding Durmstrang so it's here again."
"But wouldn't the other schools have been here all year?"
"Well, they only just found out you see."
"So that means another Yule Ball" Asked Harry.
"Well I suppose so, yeah."
" Oh dear," Said Harry.
