A/N: Wrote this for a friend, tell me if ya like it!

She slowly climbed over the roof, of the small shack next to the kitchen garden, like Boq taught her. She knew she shouldn't have been out this time of night unescorted. She shouldn't have been out, at all. But still she pressed on, because she knew what she had to do. Nobody knew her secret, no one needed to know. She didn't even know all of it herself, just what they told her. And what they told her to do tonight was to given a package to someone. She didn't even know who it was for, what was in it, or who she was suppost to be giving it to. All she was told was, to get the train to Oz, then wait in front of the café called Oh Fare. She was starting to think that this organization she was in wasn't working for only what she wanted. She knew it was illegal to protect the Animals, but now it seemed like more was going on. Who need to be this secretive?

"Wait, no Elphie, your wrong don't think like that, trust yourself." Elphaba said to herself as she crossed the street to the train station. She needed to reassure herself this was what is going to save the Animals. If she didn't believe it, she couldn't be sure she would do it.

The train started with a screech, and they were on their way. She knew it would be a long way. She might now even get back to Shiz by morning. But even so, Elphaba was happy that, the community had made a faster way to get Oz, so that it would only take a few hours, instead of few days to get there. And then, so what if she didn't get back by morning? She would probably get kicked out, but who cared? Nessa had Nanny, Galinda had her other friends, and she only worried for her father Frex. She knew he would be disappointed, and he couldn't handle much stress, because he was very sick. That was something Nessa didn't know, she thought she was just special enough to go to Shiz a year early. But really, she couldn't have stayed there. Even there youngest brother had been sent away. Wait, this isn't what I need to be thinking about. I need to focus on the mission ahead. There needs be nothing but that.

As Elphaba waited outside, she watched the moon. It calmed her, and made her less anxious. She also liked how the moon, slashed off her green skin, and made it glow an emerald color. A color that matched the city she was in. As she looked around, she saw tall skyscrapers, government buildings, even the coffee house behind her, they were all green. This was her first time being in this city, and it made her feel at home. Maybe because everywhere else felt empty. But just then someone came up to her, and she began to feel uneasy. Especially because she couldn't really see the person, just a dark outline.

"Do you have it?" A voice questioned her. She could know tell it was man, with an outline to match, she now noticed. She also noticed that voice had a bit of nervousness in it.

"Yes. Here." She told him, exactly as she was instructed to do. Then he took it, and walked away. Elphaba let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding in. In her head she thought maybe a bit more would happen. But nothing did. She almost felt sad that nothing happened, because she expected more, and had set herself up for it. So as she walked back to the train, that would take her back to Shiz, and her normal life, she smiled. Because for the first time in her life, she felt like she fit in, and did something right.
