So what is this? Jamie asked Tristan. What do you mean? Tristan asked confused. Is this like a date, are or we just hanging out? Jamie asked. Well... to me I see this as a date... What is this to you? Tristan asked. Um I like you so I guess this is a date... but I think we shouldn't tell everyone. Jamie replied. Why? Tristan asked confused. Well you know Britney and Justin went out.. and their horrible break up.. I don't know how everyone would react to us.. Ya know.. Plus if any one finds out, like the media... Jamie paused. Yeah I guess.. it would probably be best if we kept it a secret for now. Yeah Jamie said as the two pulled in the driveway and parked.
Wow your house is big.. Jamie said. Yeah we got it renovated Tristan said smiling at the amazed look in her face. The two walked up to the front door and Tristan began to unlock it but then the door opened. In front of them stood Lynne Tristan's mom, She just stood there with a shocked look on her face staring at Jamie. Um mom are you gonna let Jamie and I in the house? Tristan asked his mom knowing what she was thinking.
Oh Jamie-Lynn thats you? You look so different! Just like your sister! Lynne said as she let the two of them in. I haven't seen you in forever! Sit down make yourself at home. They sat there talking for about 15 minutes until the door bell rang Lynne went and opened it and in walked Justin and Cameron hand in hand smiling until they saw Jamie.
Justin dropped ​Cameron's hand and stared at Jamie-Lynne thinking the same thing his mom had been thinking that Jamie was Britney. Honey, Tristan's friend Jamie-Lynn's going to join us for dinner. At the same time the maid announce that dinner was ready and they all took a seat in the dining room. Jamie and Tristan sat next to each other where Justin and Cameron sat in front of them. So Cameron are you working on any movies? Lynne asked. No, I'm just relaxing, I might start one if I find a good script.
Oh, thats good. Lynne replied not really interested she still liked Britney better even after what happened. So Jamie Lynn have you been doing anything lately? Lynne asked beaming at Jamie Lynne. Yes mam I have, Jamie Lynn said with her southern drawl which brought a smile to the parents face. I have been cheer leading, and I have basketball, soft ball, and soccer and I also film for Zoey 101 When I have time. Jamie said. Wow thats a lot for a little girl, just like your sister she could take on anything. So hows your family? Lynne asked Jamie. My moms doing good and My dad has a restaurant which is doing well also. Oh thats good. Lynne replied. Everyone noticed that Britney was left out.
There was a uncomfortable silence then Justin asked, Hows Britney doing? Which surprised everyone, Cameron choked on her water. Um Britney's doing good and Preston's fine... Jamie said. Oh thats good Justin said with a blank face. Dinner was quite awkward that evening where Justin would stare at Jamie and think of Britney and Cameron was mad that Jamie was there. You could cut the tension with a knife.
Sorry. Tristan said as they got in the car. For what Jamie asked. I know that was uncomfortable, or awkward... Tristan replied. What? No everything was fine it was great... Jamie said. I didn't know Justin was coming... And I could see the evil eyes that Cameron was giving you.. Tristan said. Jamie giggled. It's okay I had a fun time because I was with you! Jamie said. Aww.. shucks, thanks! Tristan said enveloping her in a hug as he stopped outside her house. You know I was kidding right? Jamie said as she laughed.. Hey! That was mean Tristan said as she continued giggling.
He stared at her smiling and kissed her. She was surprised but then kissed him back, It was a kiss but a kiss that had felt like no other, with so much compassion and care. Jamie's cell phone rang and her mom asked her if she was coming home soon because it was almost curfew. After talking to her mom, Jamie hanged up and gave Tristan another quick kiss. I'll call you tomorrow Jamie said and left.
When she got in the house she ran to her room and fell into her bed. She laid there recapping what had happened. She had never felt that way about a boy before, she use to go out with guys just to go out. But this was different she actually had butterflies and she was heads over heels for him.
