Two Bright Eyed Children

A small poem inspired by a picture I have of Hinata and Naruto if they had been friends when they were children. Hinata has a puppy in her hands and she's showing it to Naruto. Everything is in black except their eyes.

Best friends forever,

That is how we will stay

Two bright eyed children,

We will play all day

When I am lonely,

You will sit and stay

When you are sad,

We will go out and play

Always two bright eyed children,

That is what we will be

When you have grown up,

And am away from me.
