Omg, here is a drabble that isn't for 100fruit- everyone gasp all at once! Yes, this is for another community on LJ, but the community isn't specifically for any TV or Anime. It's just whatever. Gives you a prompt everyday and you respond- simple as that. And, no word limit. Saweet! Ah yes, and there is a really big spoiler here for Kureno. So if you don't already know what I'm talking about, you probably shouldn't read this.
I'll posting up drabbles on a regular basis now that 100fruit has started back up again. Expect one every week, at least. And Chapter 3 of Tainted Strings.. I'm not sure if that will happen anytime soon. We'll see.

Title: Don't leave me.
Fandom: Fruits Basket
Characters: Akito and Kureno
Spoilers: One big spoiler for Kureno
After a series of restless tossing and turnings, Akito awakens from a light sleep. Shivering, the displeased man scowls, curling up in a ball on his king sized bed. Craning his neck to spy on a nearby sleeping rooster, Akito silently watches the uncursed one. The clan leader's eyes narrow in an almost caring manner, but not quite.
With his dark orbs still locked onto the resting man, he irritatedly yanks up a blanket to cover his thin body. The new found warmth sooths Akito's already ticked off state, along with the ever-present Kureno. Wrapping the heavy piece of fabric around himself, he sits up and scoots closer to the rooster, yearning to feel less anxious.
Finally, Akito reaches the edge of the bed, directly above the older man's auburn head, and lowers his head down to touch the soft locks. However, before he can do so, Kureno shifts in his sleep, unconsciously avoiding the ice-cold hand of his cousin.
A look of slight betrayal crosses Akito's face and lingers there. Reminded of the rooster's unfortunate escape of the curse, he frowns and presses himself further into his soft haven of covers.
Was there a chance of Kureno leaving him...?
No, Akito thinks to himself, NO!
