Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, Palpatine, or any other characters implied in this. That would the property of Mr. Lucas.

A/n: I was sitting here listening to the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack (and tryign not to cry as I imagine Anakin on fire and Obi-Wan shouting his heart out) and it got to the song where Anakin is in the Jedi Temple and Padme is in her apartment and they are looking out thier windows and Anakin is so tormented. I randomly started typing and this is what came out.

I'm standing here

My soul is tormented

I can only see darkness.

There is her face

Light and extraordinarily beautiful

For her, for her.

How did it become this way?

How can I see no other way out?

How can I turn my back on my dream?

For her, for her.

A tear slides down my face

I feel cold, much too cold

The darkness surrounds me.

I love her so passionately

So intensely, so deeply, so much

To lose her would be far worse than any death imaginable.

Obi-Wan is my father, my brother

My friend, my mentor

I am betraying him, I know.

For her, for her.

Another tear falls and my heart is aching

I will soon be lost to the world as I know it

The cold and the darkness penetrate.

I give myself over to those feelings,

Those powers, those emotions

It begins to consume my very being.

Anakin Skywalker is burned away.

Vader is born.

For her, to save her.

A/n: Well? Short, I know. But it is a "poem". Anyways, let me know what you thought. Any form of feedback is greatly appreciated. :)
