(A/N:) This a little 300 – 350 word piece. Took me about 2 minutes!

Summary: What is said between The Golden Trio in the hour or so before the beginning of the end?

The same as always:

Harry James Potter rubbed his tired green eyes in exasperation.

"No."

"Yes." Ronald Bilius Weasley snapped back, his own eyes sharp with anger.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"NO!"
"YES!"

"Stop yelling!" Hermione Jane Granger stepped in between the two. "Harry we told you already! We're with you till the end, whether you like it or not!"

Harry scowled at her. "It's too dangerous," he insisted.

Ron snorted, "Dangerous! Of course it's going to be dangerous! You're about to face Vol-Voldemort again! Dangerous is an understatement!"

"He could kill you, scratch that, he probably will." Harry said flatly.

"But we don't care! Harry if we die the at least we die with clear conscience's!" Hermione said, with tears in her eyes.

"I'd never be able to live with myself if you walked out that door and never came back." Ron added.

"We go with you, Harry! We all go together, all of us!" Hermione was crying now.

"The same as always," Ron declared, tears on his own cheeks.

Hermione immediately agreed. "The same as always," she sobbed.

"I won't let you follow me to your deaths!" Harry yelled.

"Too bad!" Hermione screamed.

"The same as always," Ron repeated. "Harry! The same as always."

Harry looked them in the eyes for a moment, then his angry expression faded to a smile. "The same as always," he whispered.

And so, when Harry James Potter met Voldemort for that one last time, Ronald Bilius Weasley and Hermione Jane Granger were right there on either side of him. The same as always.

A mere 45 minutes later, Harry defeated the Dark lord, and the wizarding world was saved.

And 3 days later they finally found Harry's body.

He was buried on the 31st of July, the day he should have turned 18. And Ron and Hermione were laid to rest on that same day, on either side of him.

And they were together, all three of them, for all of time.

The same as always.
