This poem is actually not a crossover of anything. I wrote it back in 7th grade when we had to read Shabanu, Daughter of the Wind by Suzanne Fisher Staples. I couldn't find a category to put it in which is why it is here. Enjoy!
My Dadi Sold My Camel
On that fateful day
There was no way to know,
The tragic price I had to pay,
For loving my faithful camel.
The day was going well
With Dadi selling many camels,
But then my happiness fell,
When Dadi sold my Guluband.
For 150,000 rupees he was sold,
To that dirty Wardak,
On to me Dadi did hold,
When I tried to get Guluband back.
It was at the Sibi Fair,
My Dadi sold my camel
In the rain he disappeared,
My Dadi lied to me.
I never knew I had a heart,
Until I lost my Guluband
Of me took with him a part
That I'll never see again.
