Disclaimer: I don't own NCIS.
This is written as my way of accepting Kate's death. I was driven to write this after a couple of accidents which happened in the last two weeks in the town where I go to school. Five people died, 2 of them were 14 years old. So this is for Kate but is also a tribute to the members of Rhyl cycling club who tragically died on the Abergele Straights two weeks ago. They were:
Tom Harland, 14 - Maurice Broadbent, 61 - Dave Horrocks, 55 - Wayne Wilkes, 42
This is also dedicated to Sadie Campbell, 14 who died yesterday whilst doing a lifeguard course at Abergele Sports Centre. May they all Rest in Peace.
It's ok to cry
It's ok to cry when you think of me as gone,
For in each tear you shed, I live on.
The lonesome tear trickles down your face,
It's a solemn tribute to the moments of life that we shared.
Those heart-wrenching sobs which wrack your body when the grief feels too heavy to bear,
They're the sign of how much our lives were interdependent,
And that I will never be forgotten.
-----
When the tears no longer beat at your eyelids begging to fall,
Don't think of it as good bye,
Instead it's just 'see ya later'.
I will always live on,
In the memories of those whose lives I touched.
Your life isn't over just because I can't be there to share it with you anymore.
-----
Don't feel guilty when the laughter returns,
Remember the fun we had together and how we would laugh.
Don't feel guilty when you find you've stopped constantly thinking of me,
I wasn't the only person in your life, give the living a chance to gain a place in your life too.
Don't feel guilty when your life gets back to normal,
I know I'm not forgotten.

It's ok to cry when you think of me as gone,
For in each tear you shed, I live on.
When the tears no longer beat at your eyelids begging to fall,
Don't think of it as good bye,

-----
See you later my friends,
We'll be together again one day.
Don't make it too soon through,
You need to live enough for both us now.
See ya later Kate. (In the world of fanfiction and re-runs you will never completely die).
