Why Can't Those Two Work Things Out?

Rachel slowly followed Ross out onto the balcony, not even able to look him in the eye.

"So, Rachel, I hear you had a little talk with Kendra about my past, calling me a cheater and such. Care to explain? I mean, do you really feel that way or were you just mad at me or something. Because I gotta tell you Rach, it's pretty embarrassing when I ask a girl why she breaks up with me and those are her reasons." Ross said, trying to hold back his anger because the last thing he wanted to do was make her cry, because then he would just feel like an ass. But Rachel was the guilty one, so he would try and keep it that way.

"No Ross, I don't think of you like that, it's just…"

But Ross cut her off. "It's what Rach? Why do you always do this? Julie, Bonnie, Emily. I mean gosh Rach, it's like you don't want me to move on or something." Ross said

"Exactly!" Rachel screamed, not angrily but out of impulse. She didn't want Ross to move on, and now was the time to tell him.

"What? What do you mean?" Ross was stunned and confused. 'Does she wanna get back together, or am I totally misunderstanding her?'

"What do you think is happening now?" Monica asked, looking out Ross' window to look onto their balcony. After Ross and Rachel went outside, the other four thought it would be too obvious if they just stared through the window to watch them, so Phoebe suggested they go to Ross' and look through his window.

"I don't know, but Ross seems pretty confused." Joey stated.

"Do you think she's gonna tell him?" Phoebe asked

"Ok, here it goes." Rachel was getting nervous, but she couldn't back down now. Now was the time to tell him.

"I still love you, Ross." Rachel said with a small smile, hoping he would return her love.

"What? I…you…love…still…What?" Ross was so astonished that he couldn't speak. 'She loves me. Wow.'

"I know it's out of the blue, but I can't help it. Ever since the night we argued over Jill I can't stop thinking about you. Day and night, every day, 24 hours. It's just constant." Rachel said honestly, trying to make him see her point of view and why she was a bitch to Kendra.

"Wow, I don't know what to say." Ross still couldn't really speak.

"Well, 'I love you too' would be my choice, but I can't make you say that." Rachel tried to lighten the mood, but Ross just stared at her. 'Wow, that didn't work' she thought.

"You're serious about this?" Ross asked. After she nodded her head, Ross started thinking a lot of thought, really quickly.

'Should I tell her I love her? Should I kiss her? Should I think about it? Wait, think about what? This is the woman you love, the woman that you have always loved, and you want to think about? Ah, what the hell'

Catching Rachel by surprise, Ross leaned in and kissed her. At first she was extremely shocked and stiff for a few seconds, but she quickly sunk into the kiss.

"YYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS" all four of the others said in unison.

"Lobsters, what did I tell you." Phoebe said

"Yeah baby" Joey said

"This is unbelievable. I'm so happy for them." Chandler said, smiling down at his lobster.

"I know, me and Rachel are gonna be friends-in-law again." Monica said, smiling back at Chandler.

After about a minute, Ross pulled away, finishing the most passionate and love-filled kiss they had ever had. Which, I might add, is quite impressive.

"I love you too." Ross whispered, bringing Rachel to tears.

Rachel immediately kissed him again, not as long as the first kiss, but with just as much love. She was crying freely now, with half laugh-half sobs coming out of her. Ross just smiled at her, wiping away the tears with his thumb.

"I can't believe it. It's just so amazing." Rachel somehow got out of her, still crying.

"I know, but we both knew this day would probably come. We might have tried to doubt it, but nothing will ever get in our way again." Ross said, still smiling down at the woman he loved.

"Oh, Ross. I love you so much. OH, can I tell the others?" Rachel asked, already wanting to brag about the man in front of her even though they had just gotten back together 3 minutes ago.

"I don't think we need to." Ross stated, waving at his apartment window.

The other four were still watching, and they all started clapping and screaming and waving back when they both looked over.

Now nothing could get in the way of them ever again. They were more mature and prepared for a serious relationship with their best friend. They had had fights, break-ups, a wedding, a divorce, and they still found their way back to each other. Their will be no more Chloe's or Mark's, no Emily's or Joshua's. It was now just them, and neither of them wanted that to change.

A/N: OK guys, this is the last chapter. Hope you liked the story. If I get enough reviews/requests, I will write an epilogue if you want.

I am also planning to write another RnR reunion thing based in Season 8, so look for that in the coming weeks.
