Just a short angst filled chick thing, written as part of a competition over on FairyTV but I scrapped it at the last minute.

Oh yes, the poem at the end is mine, original and may be used, just ask me first- thanx!

She looks around and all she sees are happy couples at Christmas- she knows no happiness anymore, there's most of the people in the station- there's Brownlow, Meadows and Deakin, even fusty old Bob Cryer has Marilyn his wife.

This year will be dark and depressing.

Just two weeks ago she lost her other half, the love of her life, his bread to her cheese.

Shocked,

Stunned,

Numb,

Then coldness,

Then the grief set in, the real inconsolable grief- the realisation that she has lost the one person she could depend on- the one she really needs

There is photo taken at the Christmas ball last year- she organised it, tears began to fall as she realised how alone she really was, she has no one- not now- not ever.

He's gone- the light shining in the dark

The flame so easily extinguished

A kaleidoscope of colours

Now all she sees is black, its represents so much- death, destruction, desolation, desperation, she tries so hard but everything is black.

They were getting married- in the New Year he'd said, she'd agreed- the ring still on her finger, glistening in the light

'A kaleidoscope of colours

Now all she sees is black

A chair creaks as she looks back

No time for reflection

That is the past

This is the future'

This is going to bethe last from me for sometime, I'm dropping out of writing for everyone not just J&C, sadly the fans and the inspiration just isn't there anymore. :-(

Too much is going on in my life right now, I'll still be reviewing anything I read it just might take a little longer than usual.

Email is in my profile if you want me to proof read anything or just to say hi.

Take Care Everyone!
