Blackened Heart
She is glad she is leaving this place. Everywhere she turns she is reminded of him, and every time she thinks of him she feels more foolish. She believed he loved her, but he belongs to another world, one in which she will never be a part of.
When she wakes she sees him welcoming another into his arms. She walks, and she remembers the burn in his eyes as he gazes at another. She lies down at night beneath the stars and knows that he has made another woman his Queen. She dreams of him calling through the forest, claiming another woman as his "Tinuviel! Tinuviel!"
Arwen watches the shores of Middle-earth fade into the distance, and waits for her memories to fade with it.
