Kate sat on the couch in her living room watching Lost on the T.V. with a container of cookie crumble ice-cream. "God Kate this is sad" She told herself. Just as there was a gunshot on the T.V. there was a nock at her door this made her jump she grabbed her gun and walked to the door. She opened it slightly leaving the chain lock locked. She sighed when she saw the familiar face of Tony DiNozzo. She closed the door again and unlocked the door and opened it again. She stood in front of Tony who looked her up and down she looked down. "Crap!" she said when she remembered she had just got changed into her night slip dress (That covered hardly anything) she stepped aside and welcomed him in.
Kate slipped into her bedroom after seating Tony on the couch. She came out of her room wearing her silk dressing gown.
"Coffee." She offered.
"Ah… Yer why not." Kate got there coffee and walked back to the couch. She handed Tony his coffee and took a seat next to him.
"What are you doing her Tony?" She asked.
"You weren't at work to day so I came to see if you were alright." He said.
"What do you care how I feel?" She said almost crying. Her eyes were filling up with tears she was fighting them back. Tony looked at her in disbelief. "Am I that hard to get along with? Would you go out with me if I asked you?" she said as the tears fell from her eye's she just couldn't hold them back any more. "Does everyone really hate me?" she continued.
"Awwwwwww Katie!" He said as he pulled her into his chest. "Nobody hates you! And if you asked me yes I would!" he said leaning his head on the top of hers and planting a small kiss on her forehead. Her head rose from his chest
"I just broke up with Greg! He said I was a heartless Bitch that everyone hates" She said sadly.
"Nobody thinks that you are the kindest, sweetest most liked person I know!" he said which she found very-un-Tony-ish and before she knew it her lips were pressing up against his. Just then there was a knock at the door but to wrapped up in each other they didn't here it. There was another knock this time Kate pulled away she ground a little and got to her feet. The knocking started again.
"Alright, alright I'm coming!" she yelled. When she opened the door she saw her best friend Abby standing in front of her. Holding a dress bag.
"Hi…" she trailed off the second she saw Tony sitting on Kate's couch. She looked at Kate and smiled her eyebrow raised. "Hi Tony!" she said raising her voice so he could here her.
"Hi Abbs!" He replied.
Abby turned back to Kate. "Kate am I interrupting something."
"No! We were just having coffee. You want some?" Kate said but her eyes told a different story.
"No! It's alright I'm just dropping off your dress. Tell me if you need any adjustments." She said shoving the bag gently into Kates hand "Cya. Cya Tony!" and with those words she spun on her heels and left. And Kate shut the door.
Kate walked back to the couch and sat in Tonys lap. She smiled "Hi!" she said leaning into him.
"Hi!... Now weir were we?" he said as Kate placed her soft lips on his. The kiss started of slow and sweet but the passion grew and the kiss became hungrier Kate broke the kiss when the need for oxygen became to great she stood up and grabbed Tonys hand. She lead him to the bedroom with out a sound.
