Okay, this is another one-shot, Paige's POV. It's after her and Alex started seeing each other. In this, they've broken up because Alex has moved to Vancouver. There'll be another fic cropping up eventually, talking about the departure of Alex. Anyway, it's Paige/Emma. Paige is a bit lonely and confused.

I let Emma into the theatre after most of the lights had gone out. I'd stayed behind to do some extra "cleaning up." Which was really an excuse to linger in the one spot in which I spent the most time with Alex.

Emma was wearing her hair loose and slightly messy, her makeup had a smudged look around her eyes. She yawned as I led her behind the counter. Arranged on the floor were several coats, to create a sort of nest. Alex and I had often done similar things after hours.

I told her to lay down, and she did. Her pink shirt rode up as she situated herself, baring her firm, dark stomach. I crawled on top of her, running my hand up her side slowly. Alex was more pale than Emma, even given her Hispanic heritage.

Her shirt came off slowly while I licked and nibbled up and down her neck. She sighed into my hair several times, I only guessed that I was the first one to ever really "pleasure" her. In my mind, she was Alex. Her blonde hair turned to deep brown, her face changed. I sucked at her bottom lip, remembering Alex's taste as Emma slipped her tongue into my mouth.

Our hands explored slowly, I tried to turn every curve and nook into Alex. I felt my eyes sting when Emma finally put her hand between my legs.

She wasn't really Alex, but we continued and I felt that, afterwards, our musk only disgraced the spot where Alex and I had kissed and touched and loved before.

Emma had no idea that while she smiled at me and while she pushed my hair behind my ear, I wasn't really there completely. I was trying to find Alex in some abandoned corner of my mind, I was failing though. She was fading fast, more grey than red. I wanted to apologise for what I'd done with Emma before she was completely gone.

I felt Alex leave me as I looked into Emma's eyes, couldn't remember Alex's own, tried to stroke Alex's dark hair but I ended up stroking blonde almost-curls instead. Their skin was too different, one rough and the other smooth. I wasn't sure who was who anymore.

Alex melted completely. I apologised to Emma before I probably melted, too.

Still falling
Breathless and on again
Inside today
Beside me today
Around broken in two
'till your eyes shed
Into dust
Like two strangers
Turning into dust
'till my hand shook with the way I fear

I could possibly be fading
Or have something more to gain
I could feel myself growing colder
I could feel myself under your fate
Under your fate

It was you, breathless and tall
I could feel my eyes turning into dust
And two strangers turning into dust
Turning into dust
