Okay, I'm starting up this fan fiction again. There's a change in the prologue and the first chapter will be entirely different, so I'm taking another crack at this. I hope you all enjoy this fan fiction.
Full Summary: They all thought that the story was a myth... A firebender in Ba Sing Sae, has his doubts about this so called myth after leaving a hidden library. What was thought to be a myth will soon be proven to be reality. The four will return, they shall soon be revealed.
Prologue:
Near the beginning of time, the first avatar; avatar Chou. Before the great avatar Chou died, he summoned four of the best and most trustworthy warriors he could find; one from each of the four nations, each one having extraordinary skill in bending their native element, archery, weaponry, and hand to hand combat. He told all four of them that they were to protect a precious item, an item in which he'll infuse all of his power in, a stone. So, the great avatar fused all of his power into the stone and died, the four benders then took the stone and hid themselves to fulfill the avatar's dying wish. Word of this magical stone spread like wild-fire throughout the world and many chased after them to take the stone, but the four guardians protected the stone fiercely. A year after the stone's creation, during another battle, the guardians were outnumbered by fifty to one. They fought with all their might, but the numbers were overpowering them. The bender from the water tribe had gotten a brilliant idea and shot the middle of the stone splitting it into four even pieces. The guardians quickly took the stone of their element and hid, after saying their goodbyes knowing they would meet again. Now, in the present day, the guardians descendents still exist and are still protecting the stone, but the air nomad in their group had died long since, but the stone still lives on. Thus our story begins with a certain fire bender and uncle…
