Rainfall

It would be easy enough to say that it was raining outside. If one wanted to be lazy about the description. Truth be told, it was pouring cats and dogs. The rain was smashing down

so hard, it was leaving little dents in the dirt outside, winds were blowing harshly, strong enough to knock a full grown man over. No one was outside at this time, who in their right

mind would ever brave such a storm?

Lightning kept crashing down, and the thunder rumbled across the large city of Konoha. Only one person could be seen, and only as the lightning flashed over her head was it

possible, even if her hair was wet, it was still the most vivid shade of pink anyone could ever lay eyes upon.

She was sitting, her arms wrapped about her legs, and her face hidden by the dripping veil of her hair. If you looked closely enough you would be able to see that she was crying. At

first, she was simply letting the tears drop down, but as she huddled up into a tighter ball, the tears slipped down faster, and faster, her shoulders began to shake as she bit her lip to

keep from crying out at the agony that was searing through her heart. It didn't work, after a few minutes of muffling her voice she began to sob, her body trembling in time to each

low moan of agony.

Finally unable to stand it, she pushed herself to her feet in one motion and darted off the edge of the balcony, her feet lightly touching the next roof before pushing off once again,

faster, faster she flew, the tears mixing with the rain. Her hair was flying about, sticking to her face, she didn't care, her nose was swollen, she didn't care. Faster, faster, if she went

fast enough, perhaps she could outrun her pain, perhaps she could escape this feeling of betrayal that was lancing through her body.

The girl stopped, staring blankly down at the ground from her new vantage point. This was where it had happened, this was where he left her, even after she had finally told him how

much she loved him, he had called her annoying, she threatened to scream, to keep him from leaving, he had smiled at her, thanked her, and all she saw was blackness. Her lips

formed his name silently, as she swayed on her feet staring down at the spot, as if marking it forever into her mind. She had been too weak. To fragile, to pathetic to do anything. But

that would change. It had to.

One last tear fell from her jade colored eyes before she turned on her heel and headed back, training with Tsunade would start in the morn, and then, then she would become strong,

strong enough to take him back and make him tell her what she was to him. Make him explain. Pausing she bit her lower lip and a small smile made its way onto her broken looking

face. She would also get stronger so that if ever one of her friends was going to be hurt, she could stop it, this time, she would be the one who was the fighter, this time it would be

different .

Turning her head up she smiled up at the sky, and howled along with the thunder. Perhaps Naruto had been right, this was not the end, but the beginning of something new and

different, and perhaps, just perhaps, she would see this one through. She would become someone that he would love, and someone who was strong enough to stand by his side.

"Sasuke...wait for me..."

Author's note-

Eh, please go lightly on me, I am not too good at this writing thing but I am trying my hardest, this is a first of mine, and I think it shall be a one shot. Though I have found that I do like naruto's character Sakura alot, at first she IS annoying, but she shapes up in the end. Please dont flame, I dont flame others so have some respect...eh...Tell me what it needs and how you like the story...Chibi Kakashi's for the good reviews, cookies for the evil flamers...Is it odd to reward flamers?
