Rose trotted out of the bathroom, refreshed after a long shower. She had expected Jack to complian but who's going to hate it when he doesn't? For a whole two hours it was hers!

Longest shower she had managed to get with Jack the Hogger around. The man took showers that would make a waterfall sick.

Whistling happily, Rose turned a corner to come face to face with a six-foot greyish man, his legs and arms long, three fingers and no clothes. His actual body was small compaired to the rest of him; his eyes where large and ebony.

A scream echoed through-out the hall, and then she was on him, smacking, kicking, shouting.

"I don't know who you are, but your trespasing!"

"Rose!" The man tried to fend her off. "Rose Tyler! STUPID APE, GET OFF!"

With a shock, Rose realised this was the Doctor. She stepped away from him, looking him over in confusion.

"D-doctor? You, um," She paused.

"What?" He was on the floor, nursing his arm as Rose had gave it a good wack. He looked up at her, eyes angry and confused.

"Well...you don't..look...like the Doctor." Rose said as tactfully as she could.

"Rose, I look exactly the way I did when I met you."

She hesitantly sat down beside him, then took his hand. She held it up for him to see the differance between hers and his.

"Oh..." Realisation hit him. "Bugger!"

"AHHHH!" A voice bellowed from behind them. Both turned sharply to see a small furry thing aim a gun at them. "Who are you? What did you do with my team-mates!"

"Jack?" Rose asked. The furry thing paused.

"Rose?"

"Doctor." The Doctor waved.

"Uh...we...uhm...you...look different." Jack settled on. "Niether of you are furry...and uh...you grew, too..."

"What?" Rose blinked. "No! I've never been furry!"

"Oh." Jack scratched his chin. "Your still attrative, don't worry."

"We havn't changed." The Doctor said impationtly. "For some reason the Tardis is no longer proccessing how we look reletive to each other's minds."

"What?" Rose wondered.

"The Tardis stopped working. We see each other as we really are." Jack explained.

"Oh." Rose nodded. "So...your really..." Rose giggled. Jack raised one - no, two - very bushy eye brows over his left eye. Rose squealed and picked him up. "Your so cute!"

Jack grinned a wide, toothy grin. "Yeah, I am."

"Doctor?" Rose put Jack back on the floor. "Why were you not serprised?"

"I see everyone as their own spiecies, but I make sure the Tardis doesn't let my companions see each other as different spiecies. Makes it easier for them to live together."

"Jack..." Rose gave him aquizal look.

"Hm?" He layed his head on her kneee. "Yes, oh bueatiful one?"

"You went to Earth by yourself, why are you shocked?"

He held up a small black piece of metal. "This baby does what the Tardis has been doing. Don't know why it quit on me though..."

"Interseting..." Rose leaned on the Doctor's shoulder. "Sorry for hitting you."

"Nah, diserved it, I'm sure." He grinned.

Suddenly everyone was back to normal in each other's eye. Rose mused out loud, "Maybe the Tardis wanted us to see each other truly."

Jack sat up. "I have to admit, humans do look odd."

"Ha!" Rose pinched his arm. "Mister furry and odd one out!"

"Don't pick on the little guy!"

Rose and Jack wandered off to the kitchen, good-naturedly squabbling over difference in looks. The Doctor sat there for awhile, thinking.

If he had let any of his previous companions see what the others where made of, would they have taken it as easy as Rose and Jack? Of course, there was one shape-shifting fellow, but...

Rose and Jack. Wonderful little creatures, so trusting. Now, how does he go about telling them they are all from different realities and their actully all from the same planet...
